Welcome to the Ogre Stronghold, the greatest of all Ogre fortresses in the Mountains of Mourn!
Built within the heart of the sacred snow-topped mountain known as 'Maw's Tooth', the Stronghold is said to be impenetrable to all attacks. The walls of the Stronghold are made from the mountain itself! Who or what hollowed out the mountain has long been forgotten, but it matters not, for it is now well and truly under Ogre rule.
Tribes travel far and wide to Maw's Tooth mountain to pay homage to the Great Maw, and all (even Thinlings) are welcome to trade, relax, and enjoy the unending feasts that rage day and night within the Stronghold's renowned halls. |

Hello again everyone! I'm happy to announce that I've returned to the Stronghold and that work is underway to improve and update the site.
My apologies to all of you for the downtime over the last several months, and greetings to those of you who are viewing the Stronghold's main site for the first time (be sure to check out the Gallery, our members have created some awesome looking stuff over the years).

Battle of the Tyrants - the end has come! |

 The Battle of the Tyrants contest is now over, and I'm sure you'll agree that it has been an enjoyable ride!
The contest kicked off months ago with a painting challenge encompasing the painting and converting of 3 Ogres, then progressed to the writing of short stories, and finished with a ruthless gut-fight to decide the overall winner among those left in the competition.
The event organiser (the much loved and extremely dedicated forum member Barabas) would like to congratulate Wilcard and Ogrebane for being the last two players left standing, and for their fine performance in the final battle of the gut-fight. Many congrats to Wildcard for winning the contest!
