Greetings.

My name is Ceodoc, MMO veteran, retired & fantasy fan for many years.
I have found WFB via my Brother, who plays Dwarves.
My first and main army is Tomb Kings.

But my second army is/going  to be Ogres.

I hope you are all well and that i am welcome here, as I build my army and seek advice/tactics.

Cheers

Ceodoc

After all, painting 100 night goblins is something you do in the morning just before you are off to work.

And I think you missed a 0 when you wrote 11 armies. The correct nr should be 110 armies I would think, based on your painting speed.

Hello all,

I'm new. Just getting back into warhammer after many years off:) Going with the Ogres, glad to see a new book came out.

This community is fantastic and has been so helpful in inspiration and tips on getting started. I'm doing a frost them and I'll have to post pictures when ready. Hopefully my first painted army since 2001 Dwarfs meets the grade!

Hello! my name is Juan Rodriguez and I am 30 years old. Alone I play Fantasy with kingdoms ogres and I have 4000 points. I'm from the Canary Islands in Spain and my English is very bad, and use an internet translator to send this messages. I apologize for any errors. I am a follower of this website for two years. I hope to be able to learn and also contribute what I can.

Hey there the name's Tomas, I live in Australia and have been collecting this great hobby for nearly 15 years.
Just recently I grew tired of working on my 500+ model skaven army and longed for a powerful force with far-fewer models to construct and paint which led me to the discovery of the awesomeness that is the Ogre Kingdoms army.

I am a scratch builder by nature and a lover of in depth customization with some of my current projects including sculpting entire ogre units from nothing but a bulk pack of greenstuff I bought and wire to use as a skeleton.

Look forward to getting more involved around here in the future and chatting with you all.

Peace,
-Two Hammers

Hi folks,
My name is Craig and I am from Canada. I originally started playing a few months back with Wood Elves, I got started cheap and now know why, and now want to switch gears with some massive melee bombs. I so far have 2 units of Ogres and have a starting battalion on the way so looking for any advice on what to do from here. Firebelly or Slaughterer? Tyrant or Maneaters or Stonetusks and scrapblasters etc? So many units and so little time. Thanks for any help.

I've been a reader here for a little while, finally getting in here for an introduction and help in the forums. I'm fairly new to warhammer, and OK is my first and only army for the time being. I chose OK because I thought they just looked awesome, and I'm glad I did!

Hello,

My name is Jamie. Only been playing with Ogres for a few months... Choose them because I wanted an army a bit different to my Dwarfs (which I have been playing for about 4 years or so).

Stumbled across this site looking for general information about Ogres and liked what I saw here  :)

I look forward to getting to know you all and hope that I can contribute to this site in the future.

Hey All,

New to the site but not to the hobby. I've been playing for about 16 years but took a long break (around 7 years) and found myself back into the hobby around this time last year after I discovered an independent store had opened down the road from my parents house. I'm English but live in Poland and still consider my local store to be the one near my parents house :P

I've had an Ogre army since they were released... well, technically before they were released because I got the army deal box set before it hit the shelves. Staff perks ;) I have around 1500 points of ogres but to be honest I'll most likely be trying to shift them at some point. I rarely get chance to play these days and they're still in the UK so never see the light of day. At the moment I'm working on an empire army which I started last year when I re-entered the hobby and they've been a lot of fun to paint up so far.

Anyway, if I end up keeping my ogres I'll probably spend more time around here but if not then keep and eye out in the trading section ;)

Hi all, been a viewer of the site for a few months, really liked it and decided to sign up.

Been playing 40k for a little while, but always fancied a war hammer army, ogres are going to be my army of choice. Made my first purchase of a box of ogres yesterday!

Anyway enough from me

Greetings All

I have been a long time player of WHFB for a long time now (about 10 years) and in that time have only ever had two armies, Orcs and Goblins and High Elves. Recently I have been playing more and more tournaments under ETC restrictions and am fed up of painting green and elves, so am looking for another army to take on to the tournament scene hence my interest in Ogres.

That'll do for now,

See you on the boards

Matt

Hello everyone!!!

I'm a long time Warhammer enthousiast, enven though I haven't played that much since I've joined the Hobby 15 years ago, I've been collecting different armies and trying to get them painted to a standard I'm satisfied with. That being said, I recently decided to start an Ogre Kingdom army because I've always loved their models. I was also appealed at the possibility to have an army with a low model count where I can spend more time converting and modeling.

I also own the following:
- 2500 pts and more Lizardmen army
- Around 750 pts of Beastmen
- 750 pts of Skaven
- Some Dwarves models
- Some Empire models
- A Khador Warmachine army

So I'm a big fan of tabletop games and I'm really happy to be joining you guys here at OS since I've been lurking around for quite a while and I think you guys have one of the best community around the internet.
Armies played: Ogre Kingdoms and Lizardmen
Record in 8th :         W  /  L  /  D
Ogre Kingdoms:        9  /  2  /  0

Hi There,

I'm a long time wargames player (Mordheim, WHFB, 40K, etc. you name it). Was very busy painting a dwarf army that is now somewhat ready (can an army ever be ready?).

I had the need to paint something bigger after all them dwarves :) A friend of mine was trying to get rid of his huge Ogre army (unpainted) and I made him an offer.

Now I'm the proud owner of 3500 points of Ogre goodness! Cool models including the metal Goldtooth, Skrag, hunter, the old scraplauncher, etc. etc.

Hey everyone!

New Bull player here... Been playing WHFB for awhile now but decided to jump on an offer from a guy in my area for his used army. I play Stunties and Lizards and now Bulls =]

This is what I bought....

16 Bulls
8 Irongutz
4 leadbelchers
24 gnoblars
1 tyrant
1 butcher

Not sure where to go from here. Obviously the CORE % is taken care of for most games we play are at 2000 to 2500.

I usually play against, VC Deathstar, Empire, Chaos Tzeentch and Skaven.

Any suggestion on what too buy would be great.. also what to avoid like the plague would be nice too since wasting money in this hobby at GW prices equals suicidal thoughts!
