Ogre Kingdoms vs. Orcs & Goblins
Fathead:
thanks for the advice, the new rules for ME's are going to make it a lot easier to flank and/or take out hie bsb and general.
Thorgut Bonesmasher:
So sabre tusks are gold against fanatics mangler squigs etc?
If so thats pretty nice.
Cheers,
Thorgut
Gertjan:
Yeah, sabretusks work just as units of gnoblars versus fanatics/manglers. They might even be better than them as they are a tiny bit cheaper pointswise but more importantly they take up less space in your deploymentzone and they are more maneuverable due to smaller footprint and higher movement. I might have to get me some sabretusks to try that out.
I hadn't thought of that option yet, maybe since I don't have any at the moment....
xaber:
Of course, you can only field three units of sabretusks, and while normally this is enough, many O&G armies will have 2 or more units of fanatic conveyor belts. Personally, I would say use sabretusks for the fanatics/mangler squigs unless you don't have anything to hunt war machines. Otherwise set some sabretusks to killing those spear chukkas and rock lobbas.
Chief_BoneBiter:
Scrappies, more scrappies! They solve problems! T3 is too eays against them, if you just don't misfire  You can also try to field enormous unit of bulls and some smaller units around it. Works for me against my brother's almost pure night gobbo army. (Though I have only 1 scrappie)
