More Black Orc than Ogre but like the pics. Sure we can kitbash some bits from them least I will. I have everything from reaper mini's, Spawn dragons, Scibor, Random blood bowl mini's to GW old and new Any mini if it is a good min gets in my kit box!

My thoughts as well.  They remind me of WoW orcs personally.  But we'll see how the mini's turn out I thinks.

i think i will wait and see on these  guys they dont seem very ogreish to me, i would say they are alternative hordes troll bloods

But surely 'Ogreish ' is done to GW's interpretation and what we have accepted over the years from the OK books ? Mantic are doing their own spin on things and making Ogres from their perpesctive ?

But has been said wait for the 'greens' and see how they look then .

I think they were based on the D&D 3.5 ogre that had a huge muzzle face and thing body like that. Thats my guess at least. I like how the Pathfinder ogres look like the GW ones lol

It's completely different than GW's 'ogre concept' of big bellies and small heads.  They are headed for a more monster looking thing with a HUGE jawline.

I don't think these will mingle well with the GW models in the same army sadly.  BUT if they come out with a little less hair then I can see myself using a few of these as bruisers or maneaters, because let's face it, a normal ogre bull will NEVER be as ripped as these guys (they just love eating too much  ).

ive had a look at the forums on the mantic site, it would appear that the ogres will be a unit as opposed to a army, as for a release date its going to be after there new trolls early in 2013
