New to warhammer. slightly different ogre army. 1000pts

Hey all. not played a single game yet and looking at the lists for ogre's at 1000pts i really wanted to do an army that is slighlty different.

here it is. comments and help really appreciated before i buy the models.

Heroes
Butcher: ruby ring of ruin, lv 2, ironcurse icon, ironfist.

goes in with the guts. uses the ring while moving towards the enemy and uses buffs when in combat. i'm hoping he gets either troll guts or the +1 toughness and then the sig for some stubborn

6 Ironguts: full command, standard of discipline, lookout gnoblar.

these guys hopefully get in combat with enemy high toughness/ armour units. using one sabretusk to set them up for a charge against the enemy elites if possible.

4 Leadbelchers: musician

march alongside the iguts taking out chaff or whittling down enermy ranks and then getting a flank charge to help the guts.

both cavalry units will be seeking out enemy rnf, low toughness/str units and just tie them up for a few rounds. i cant see them dieing in combat and will cause enough wounds to counter the enemy rank and standard bonuses

Bump because I'm also just starting out and I'm thinking of using a very similar army list.  For my list I'd take out the sabretusks and change the core selection but the structure overall is a lot like mine.

What are you putting in instead of the sabretusks? i considered changing the guts to regular ogres but i have the mournfang to tie up rnf troops and the guts will make meat of any elite units- hopefully buffed with by ogre magic.

What is your list?

The list is similar to yours, the only major difference is that I'm using a large group of basic ogres rather than Ironguts, plus I have an Ironblaster rather than the sabretusks and one Mournfang Cavalry.  I just don't think sabretusks will work that well but maybe that's just personal preference. 

Also I noticed a couple discrepancies in your list, though since I'm new to the game I could be mistaken.  First, I don't think you can take the ring and the icon on your Butcher since they're both in the "Enchanted Items" group.  Also, I believe each unit of your MFC should be 10 points cheaper.

Obviously I have a a few extra points to spend, and I'm open to suggestions on how to use them.  I'm also open on any changes to the list overall, since I haven't bought anything yet other than the army book and the rulebook.
