Help For A Hordes Begginer!

(1/1)

Brainfreezer:
So I am back! Now it is time to look at Hordes, Warmachine's counterpart. It's a bit like Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer Fantasy Battles, they each represent a "time-frame" but there are two big differences:
1: Hordes is set in the same time as Warmachine, they are just in the remote parts of Immormen.
2: Unlike 40k and WFB, Warmachine and Hordes are compatable and so you can play them against each other.
So a few things about Hordes. Well there are no warjacks, instead you have warbeasts. (Now don't worry, these beasts can take on any jack. They are a brilliant match!) Warcasters from Warmachine are not here. Instead they are called Warlocks. No focus, but a thing called FURY. Fury, is odd because you "leech" fury from your warbeasts to satisfy your warlock's needs. If you don't, your beasts run riot called FRENZY and attack ANYTHING! Friend or foe. Also, each beast has a Fury Stat, which they must not exceed unless they FRENZY. Every beast has a signature spell or "Animus" which it 'casts' by recieving a total of fury equal to it's Cost. Yea, a bit confusing for Warmachine players so look at like this:
WM: You GAIN focus. You Allocate some to models. That's it.
Hordes: Your beasts GENERATE fury. You LEECH it. You use it to cast spells or allocate some onto to things. Possible FRENZY. Your beasts GENERATE more fury next round and so on...
WELL WHAT DO I NEED?:
Just like WM, an army, dice, templates, (tokens, card deck etc are optional)
Really anythin you have for WM are compatable, (except factions)
So I'm glad this helps, if you have any questions, just post them below and I will answer them!
