A couple of queries if you please!

(1/1)

Fabian:
Couple of questions I'd like clarified:
Can your signature spell only be cast once (By the same wizard, I know other wizards can take the signature spell if someone already has it).
I often hear people refer to their fireball machine Firebellies. I assume this refers to the Signature spell plus Ruby Ring of Ruin combo?

Second question is regarding charachters and enemy attack allocation.
I recently ran a horde of ironguts, 6 wide, with a Slaughtermaster and BSB in the 2 middle positions.
I went into combat (I don't recall with what, Empire Halberds perhaps?) and he allocated all his attacks to my unit. It only came up afterwards that I believed any models and supporting models in HIS unit that were only in base contact with my charachters had to allocate the attacks to one of them.
He seemed to believe otherwise and that he could allocate them to my unit, although I'm not sure of his reasoning. Which is correct?

Many thanks.

Yeah you pretty much have all the rules nail down.  Wizards can cast every spell they have only once per phase.  You can double up on fireball by swapping one of your spells for it and taking the ruby ring.  and if a model is only in base contact with a character than that model cannot allocate attacks against RnF.  Remember that corner to corner counts as contact though.

Fabian:
Thank you kindly, sir.
