I support my local store, but it's not a GW store, nor do I spend my money exclusively with them, that's the glory of a free market.

So, you are basically just started arguing with me for no reason. You essentially just repeated exactly what I just said. Good job.

If you thought I was arguing then you've misinterpreted what I was trying to say and therefore I offer an apology. I was merely stating my opinion against what I read as your opinion. No harm, no foul. Sometimes when I write things (more often that not I feel) the way something sounds in my head comes out not quite as obvious when I write it down.

No worries man. I'm just trying look out for the brick and mortar stores - if they didn't exist, I wouldn't be playing this game.

Our local bricks and mortar does plenty well enough without me hehe.

I always looked at playing in shops as free geek advertising. When theres 200,000 points worth of models on a table that helps sell the game.

I can see this point, but I'd counter that more people in the hobby benefits me just as well.  More variety, more people to meet, more/bigger tournaments, less chance the game goes the way of the dinosaurs, etc.  If you're the kind of guy that only plays with your group of pals, then this probably means less to you; but as a "geek," I'm always looking to bolster the geek crowd.
