Ancient Thundertusk
M  WS  BS S  T  W  I  A LD6    3    0  6   6  7  3  5  5350 Points
Troop Type-Monster

Natural Armour- (4+)

Magical Atunement- Over the long years the Thundertusk horns have caused the creature to gain a slight resistance against the eldritch energies.
-Grants Magic Resistance (1) and a (+6) Ward Save.

Saddled and Geared for War- This model maybe taken as a mount for a Tyrant. While the Tyrant is mounted it can be equiped with a Harpoon Launcher or Chain Trap. (While in Close Combat the Tyrant is assumed to put away the Launcher or Chain trap and uses its normal equipment. The cost for the chain trap or harpoon launcher is inclued in the Thundertusks point cost).

Embodiment of Winter- The arua of chill that surrounds this ancient creature has become so frigid that cannon shots break like glass against this beast.
-If an Attacks with the Mulitple Wounds special rule wounds the Ancient Thundertusk, halve the number of Wounds inflicted (rounding fractions up).

Lagre Target
Numbing Chill- Any enemy model within 12" of an Ancient Thundertusk has the Always Strikes Last special rule.
Smooth Ride
Sphere of Frost-wreathed Ice
Terror

The only rule difference from the normal Thundertusk is Beast Riders rule if the Tyrant is mounted. Let me know if you think that these rules are fair or need to be changed. I am open to any suggestions.

If you're going to spend that many points on it, you might as well have the tyrant be mounted already. Also, that's probably not enough. You should add the rule where you take half wounds from multi wound weapons from the stonehorn, as if a tyrant is mounted, that's more than 1/4th of your army gone from 2 or 3 cannonball shots, as if it hits the tyrant, it could kill him... Just my thoughts.

grey templar:
yeah, I would just make it a Mount option for a Tyrant. mounting in the middle of the game is a little odd, especially wih no restrictions. You could just pull your tyrant out of combat and put him on board.

danielking4812:
If you're going to do that, I would put him with a option to mount with a bruiser, too, as that's his second-hand man. Hmm... This would probably make the Ttusk worth taking, for the 18" inspiring presence. I'm not sure if you get the range bonus for the hold your ground! rule, though...

Brainfreezer:
You forgot the thunderthusk's bs.
