Sword Gnoblars

Hi, just thought of something. If you have a sword gnoblar and cast bullgorger on the hero in question, does the gnoblar get the strength bonus? It says that the ogre gets an additional attack at s2, but then again, I can't remember if it counts as a gnoblar, as it also says that gnoblars can't join ogre units.... :( My head hurts....

The army book says gut magic can only be cast on ogre units so I think this implies only on ogres and not the gnoblars accompanying them.
