Wildcard, you made some great points and did us proud! :D

I think this review did a really good job of highlighting the versatility of the Ogre army book with its numerous viable builds. Oh and I wouldn't be surprised to see Achievements spreading to other forums now!

I second that, was a really good listen. I'm glad that you disabused the notion that ogres are a mournfang led easy-win button, and highlighted some of the less than optimal army selections too. It's a shame they brought the FAQ out after this, I'd like to have heard you and Ben discuss the merits of the Deathfist.
The answer to everything is sabretusks.  ;) There is no problem that can't be solved at least in part with kitties.

Finally got 2 hours to take a listen to this :)  Great job on the review.  Like the guys said at the end of the podcast, it was a bit advanced if you are a brand new player.  However, I think that it was a perfect overview for someone who knows their army (whichever it is) pretty well.  The average player who has played enough games will come away from this podcast with a good solid view of what the new Ogre Kingdoms is all about.

Oh and thanks for the mention of my (very WIP) work on the math side of Ogres vs Ironguts.  I think I actually said "Holy Crap!" out loud in my car when I heard you mention my screen name.  Internet famous for the win :)

Hehe, twas funny hearing you on the radio, even stranger hearing about the game you had the previous night where the poor Skaven player got his toys took off in turn one! poor chap  ;)

I also wonder where you saw 40 Ghouls deleted on the charge from Mournfang?  ;)

It was a great review from the fluff to the units, pointing out for all those on the UK tournament scene that Mournfang are not the be-all-and-end-all of the Ogre list.
You can't be old and wise, and have youthful memory... even if you are FF

Latest: 9. Sigh! - lose more than 3 ogres to any one casting of a spell that involved you taking an initiative test as part of it's resolution
