first 500 point list

Good day, me and a couple of friends are gonna paint a 500 point army. After wards we are going to increase this to 750 and so on. We agreed to make an army that has at least a hero and two other units, but no rares. For the rest we just follow the normal rules. Now I was thinking of the following list for my 500 point.

5 bulls with bellower and standard. <- bruiser goes here

3 leadbelchers
I know it isn't alot of points to play with, but if anyone does see any improvements on the list, I'll be happy to hear them. I'll be playing against orcs and goblins, dark elves and dwarfs. I've got two batallion boxes and a bruiser/tyrant.

leadbelchers are just not that good.  I would drop them and add some more bulls.

I wouldn't take the leadbelchers for two reasons;
1) They are very expensive for a 500 point game.
2) You have low LD across the army, and very few minis. Because of those two things you do not want to kill your own troops.

I'd take a butcher, or a scrappie instead.

150ish points from the leadies would get you 3 bulls and a good sized unit of gnoblars, gorgers can be fun too at only 70ish points are viable at 500 points

Plus, unless your not keeping to it, you need at least three units.  A character does not count to this total so you should split the bulls into a unit of 5 (bellower, standard, brusier) and a unit of 3.
