This is one of my favorite models, and I since I already have some very nice converted maneaters, I wanted this guy to have a central role in my army. No other does that as well as a BSB except maybe for a general, and I did some minor conversions cutting off the gnoblar, green stuffed some fur, and used the minotaur flag with some irongut stuff.

This looks great. The freehand work on the banner is especially nice. Nice attention to detail. Great pose. Good painting. This guy will look great across the board. Giving re-rolls is just a bonus =D

Great model! My only worry is it might not rank up well with the banner leaning like that. But if the Ogre to his right is just put forward on his base, it probably won't be a problem.

This is fantastic. This is probably my most favoured model ever and you made it even better by replacing that ugly handweapon with a very cool banner. One question, why replace his gutplate? The original one is great.

It sure is great but have a look at the banner top, the medallion and the gut plate.

See anything similar...

Sure do!

Tamiya Clear Red with a small hint of black (not ink, you need color for the goey effect) that you let dry a little (be careful, this stuff dries fast) then you staple it on. Follow that up with a small staple of Clear Red with an even smaller hint of black (you can use brown) that you do not let dry.

... this doesn't just work, it looks alive. The pose, the paintjob, viewpoint in the picture. That butcher is gonna strike im very roughly, he wants it deeply and the poor bastard is terrified for it. Perfect shot, probably a perfect miniature. Thanks.
