I have (don't even remember where) a huge amount of Brettonian peasant bowmen. As in 132 of them, and also 2 Musos/1 Champ/2 Weird other bowmen guys. My question is, WTF do I do with them all? No one wants to buy them, or trade them, so I need to figure out a good use. You can only make so many "diorama" bases and the whole corpse base idea goes away when every single model is posed the same.

I figure if nothing else I now have the largest proxy army ever, lol. Any ideas?

Paint their faces green and their clothes black & yellow.

Instant Night Goblin army... Very tall, and man sized goblins... but goblins non the less

i have friends who are very into orcs and goblins (they play Orc & Orks and when they play LARPS they play warhammer orcs) and they have this word they use for the humans who want to be friends with orcs, i cannot remember what the word is, but it's humans/elves who paint their faces green and pretend to be orcy, but they're really just humans or elves.

you could have a bunch of them and have their faces painted "badly" green and pretend to be gnoblars... BAM instant gnoblar horde, just mix them equally into your current numbers.

Hmmmm...You could convert some empire buildings complete with statues of famous peasant bowmen? That would use about.... 4?

Use some of them as painting idea test dummies, for experimental mixes + washes etc.....another gone dozen at best....

116....

Remove the bows from a few and model an empire peasant fire-fighting force all holding up bits of hose or nozzles.... maybe another 8 down...

108.... Use some for a fishing boat crew, pulling ropes or firing arrows at an attacking Kraken.... another 8?

100... for every 5th other model you assemble/ paint include a bowmen or parts of bowmen on the same base...

Say thats another 20 if you work on 100 other units... Wooo double figures

!

80.... Put 2 very well painted bowmen on every door lintle in your house (not cupboard doors), to add decoration? If you have 10 doors thats another 20 down...

60 left... surely you could sell or trade 60? If not.... start a small bretonnia force with masses of peasants?

you could cheaply make a brettonian army using a ton of bowmen. stick in a small unit of knights and a spellcaster and a trebuchet, and poof ..you have a massive bow weilding army .

although i really like the idea of painting them all and gluing them at various positions around your house <:
you could make a very painful and very strange pair of boxer shorts out of them,.

LMFAO I love this forum, you guys are making me laugh AND being helpful! I've always thought it would be hilarious to position them around the house to scare my fiancee, everywhere she looks a figure is aiming a bow at her LOL.

I don't know, MAYBE I would do a small Bret army...Keep the ideas coming!

do some weapon/head swaps and use them as an empire army
do some weapon/head swaps and use them as an undead army ( see illusionarypresence's work over at carpenoctem)
do some weapon/head swaps and use them as a mordheim warband
Give some or all of them to me for me to make into a warband, bret gunline and/or undead army
