Thanks Beastmum, my question now is what do I do with the models already painted? Do I scrape the mould lines and go back to painting them from zero? do I let them be what do I do =D

I found this tool to be useful for removing mold lines ~
http://www.squadron.com/ItemDetails.asp?item=SQ10203

If you want to remove mold lines from already painted figures without repainting them completely I'd
1. Remove the mold lines
2. Use brush on primer, Reaper makes some
    http://www.reapermini.com/OnlineStore/primer/sku-down/09108
3. Paint

Hopefully that helps  :glol:

Manuel, thank you for the idea :) going to get some black primer from a friend and a file and Ill start reworking all the minis! :) (Maybe after that I can post some better pics with better painted critters!)

--------------------

Well  this was an interesting experiment, It took me about an hour an a half to take of the mold lines I could and repaint all chests I like the new look far more uniform and a little bit more snotish! :)

Looking great! Like others have said, the contrasting colours you've chosen work really well together.

Have you thought about applying some ink to your models? A brown wash would really add some depth to the skin and a black wash always looks good on metal.

Ho hum, so apologize are worthless unless I can produce some results, and here are my results many pointless pics of 2 Ironguts + a Belcher, I am trying to resist buying more pretties to build because a) I have plenty to paint b) Money c)  Need to be a better painter before I put more money out so 7 more to go before I do anything else but ogres

Mildly uninteresting post >.< I wanted to have a variety of mini's more than ogres so I could practice different things so I went out of my way to buy the "Battle for Skull pass" looks like a fun amount of stuff to paint and practice more on!

So many night goblins!! Troll was fun to paint though.  You should steal a gorger head off of someone and stick that on!

all looking great here :)

The colour scheme carries over well to the leadbelchers.

For the BFSP models, maybe just a layer of the new ink set on the dwarfs beards will add that bit of finish

Looks great :)

Gosh darned, its been a while since I posed school's driving me bananas. Just wanted to say hello and I managed to paint a few things over the last couple of weeks, this weekend you will have some pics but its healthy for me to actually type and say hi.

And on a side note, Any good tips for painting dwarf eyes?

Rhokan's Noobish Gnoblog Picture Update 3/30/10!
« Reply #34 on: Mar 30, 2010, 01:12:28 PM »
So good news everyone! I bring you 14 pictures of the work I've managed to do in two days (and some stuff) from a week before (mainly the cannon crew dwarf and the tiny dwarf marker)

So overall I bring:
1 Miner Banner-man
2 Miners
1 Giant goblin hut thingymabober
1 dwarf barricade
1 the cannon crew guy
1 marker
1 guy that names escapes me.

Enjoy!
(First up is the guy whose name escapes me)
