That's the link have fun.
an elf comes before ogre pulls out a book, and says:
This is the description of filfthy beasts like you".
An ogre scratches his head.  An Elf says:
Are you blind?.
Ogre says;
No but i can't read.

Not bad. I don't like painting on white, no matter what people from CMON or other places might say.

A couple of good tips though...

I had to Google Big Red Book to figure out it meant the WFB rulebook - I thought it had something to do with Mao.

I usually primer black for a fast tabletop job; white if I want to really make a top knoch figure (top knoch for my standard, of course).
Browsing in CMON I found an awsome technique: underpainting with zenithal light source. You prime black, than cover all unpainted areas with waterd down balck, than, with a white primer, you spray from above, as if the sun was hitting the mini from the zenith.... It works wonders.
cheers

For painting, I don't use much dry brushing because I don't like the effects. I've seen many ogres with the skin dry brushed and I find it's it looks good but from the 2 foot rule.

Wet brushing is a good technique. I guess you can call that blending then the highlighting of course.
Who will be the next Khan in the Ogre Kingdoms?

Sounds interesting. Must try... I've got a white primer lying somewhere, with no apparent use for it.
