So A few days ago I made Outlandish claims about a new project and I Might have Promised a picture or two..
Sadly I really dont have a lot to show you..
I can however give you a little Idea of what Im working on..
The General concept is a ~~Really!! Really BIG!~~GIANT Ogre Tyrant done in a Roman gladiator-esque theme.. We wanted the body to be less pear shaped and more "Powerlifter".. The massive arms and chest without loosing any of the classic Ogre girth..
~Well.. Im not in my studio.. I Dont have a real camera or a photo booth and the sculpt is just roughly bulked out and tacked together.. But I have some blue cloth and a Smartphone.. So lets see what I can Do for some pics...

REALLY BAD SKETCH TIME!!
Full faced ((Murmillo)) style gladiator Helm, Right had will be raised pointing off towards the direction of his Next victim .. & In his left Hand will be siegebreaker

As you can see its REALLY rough still and I have a long way to GO.. But hopefully that gives you a little idea of whats to come..

Great to see you back Zsoulless

I love your stuff and this one is no exception! It is a good start and the lower leg armor hints about great things to come. I like the powerlifter approach and make sure to make the back really muscly as that will be a key feature on that kind of look (but I'm sure you already knew

I dont have any more done as of yet.. Ive been busy with work, And now ive burnt my hand..

Doesnt look that bad but it hurts.. I will jump back into this sculpt as soon as I can

Seems I was wrong when I thought I was sculpting a Murmillo style helm.. It is supposed to be A Helm similar to the one worn by Russel Crowe in the movie gladiator..

Almost finished with the bulk of the sculpt.. Just hands, smoothing a few things out and Im onto detailing this beast out..

I assume the gut plate is meant to be more of a belt buckle on this guy?

The last update looks great, I really love how you have sculpted the muscles - especially the stomach. But the legs looks way to short for that upper body.

I agree, he's stumpy! apart from that, you have done a stunning job. How did you get the hard edges (for example the front peak on the helmet)? My sculpts always end up with soft edges.

He has hands Now.. Still A Lot of detail work yet to be done((feet/touch ups/weapon/a little muscle work/nicknacks))..

Works been a killer.. Hard to find time anymore..

OH.. He's HUGE!!
Hes supposed to be head and shoulders larger than a few other Ogre sculpts They own..
