- Ok, so I am a newbie here. This is not so much about my tribe, but a bit about me. It will be about the tribe very soon though.
I never liked the Ogres when they first came (ok Boo hiss), they didn't look like Ogres I'd been collecting for years, my GW faves that I thought had bags of character...well that soon changed, and I soon had a decent little force which were a blast to model and paint. Now I love's them!
Problem is, my old force, along with a great many other figures, has gone the way of the Sky Titans, and I was gutted (no pun intended) when I realised what had happened... :x
Still, one must start again...and I've always kept the same idea's of a mythos/history for my tribe and it's Tyrant.
Anyway, after more years of doing non fantasy stuff, I've started to get back in to it. Problem is, no where seems to have had the OK models I'm after in stock for some time.
Now I know why...and I'm very very impressed!
I'm glad the basic Bull hasn't changed, and I do hope to try my had at some Rhinox calvalry in the next few months. The Mournfangs I'll have to see in the flesh, but I really can't wait to get my brushes, paints, glue, and imagination, back to work....
No pics as yet, that WILL be sometime in the future, but I am itching to get painting again.
Oh, and my Ogres have always been fleshy...I just couldn't bring myself to paint them grey and always had my tribe down as being a little bit nomad like and having bred with other peoples and tribes
