Thinling Realms / Vampire Counts out in January... ?
« on: Dec 19, 2011, 08:21:21 AM »
So, it seems that the next army book will be Vampire Counts. This is due to the fact that they sell well  8) and to fix their lore of magic. Main rumors:

- 2 lores of magic, one for Vampire, one for Necromancer;
- Black Cavalry now less expensive;
- Reintroduction of BLOOD LINES, and one mount for each blood line (es: Terrorgheist for Strigoi, black Coach for Von Carstein ecc ecc).
- Ghouls as special troop;
- Heroes can join a zombie unit;
- New unit of monstrous infantry (zombie golem?).

Excited?

The Feeding Grounds / Just THANKS!
« on: Dec 04, 2010, 03:32:24 PM »
I would like to thank Ogre Stronghold and all the people here supporting with so much love our fantastic army.

In Italy, a country where often (too much often...) Warhammer is sinonymous or tournament, Ogres are usually left behind.
I think it is a fantastic army with great miniatures and very funny to play so... It is great to see a community that support Ogres with such a wonderful site and forum.
Let's hope to se much more ogre players now that the 8th edition helped a little Ogre Kingdoms...

Thanks again Ogre Stronghold!  :lol:

Yesterday a friend of mine went to a local GW store to buy a Ogre Kingdoms book. The store was out of supply: they told him that no more books will be sent to replace handbook sold and that a pdf version of the book will be soon available on the GW site.

Now... WTF is happening? Will OK be forgotten like Dogs of War and Chaos Dwaves OR a new book is on the way (it would make no sense to produce a book that will be soon replaced)?

I notice the new Ogre Battalion has seen a repackaging...Dont' know what to think!  :?
